Kizzy Van Norman embodies the spirit of faith, resilience, and community service. Married to Minister Thomas Van Norman, Kizzy is a devoted wife and mother to three boys—Sedrick, De’Viyone, and Ja’Miah—and a loving daughter, Brendasha. Her family also includes four cherished grandchildren who bring immense joy and inspiration to her life.

Born to Mother Hattie Faye Young and the late Elder Evon Young, Kizzy was raised in an environment rich with faith and community values. These foundational principles have guided her throughout her life. She is a proud graduate of Tylertown High School and is furthering her education by obtaining an Associate's Degree from Pearl River Community College.

 

Kizzy's talents as a songstress and Minister of Music are well-known, as she uses her musical gifts to uplift and inspire those around her. Her ministry extends beyond music, reflecting her deep commitment to serving her community, especially the youth. As a servant leader, Kizzy is passionate about empowering the next generation, providing them with guidance, support, and a strong example of faith-driven leadership.

Her entrepreneurial spirit is evident in her successful management of five businesses. As the owner and operator of Kizzi's Closet I & II, K & B Tax Services, Reflections Beauty Salon, and Phat Boyz Trucking Company, Kizzy demonstrates her dedication, versatility, and commitment to excellence. Each of her businesses reflects her core values of integrity, hard work, and service to others.

 

Kizzy's life and work are deeply inspired by her favorite scripture, Psalms 34:8: "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." This verse encapsulates her approach to life—one of unwavering faith, resilience, and gratitude.
